I've been told that the link I gave 2 posts ago doesn't lead to Michael's picture site, so I'm trying again. To see our pictures, go to www.Seaworthy.org and follow the pictures link.

Seth,
I have been following your blog postings and your trip and just wanted to say I think you are all doing a SUPER job and I admire your efforts.
I am an experienced cyclist but a “newbie” to bicycle camping. This weekend I leave on my first bike campout from my home in Gladstone, OR to a friend’s house in the hills outside of Mulino. On Sunday morning I head to another friend’s house in the hills outside of Colton for my 2nd night. The next day I head back home via McIver park and the Clackamas river.
I would be interested in knowing more about the specific food choices for your meals. I picked up on your recipe for your trail mix and made a batch tonight for my weekend outing. I do say - it is simply great!
Oh yes - as a point of interest, it is predicted to be 98 deg. on Saturday and 100 on Sunday here in the Portland area. I would also be interested to hear if you have hit any hot weather yet.
Keep your postings coming...you are doing a great job.
I will be staying tuned on a regular basis because I am planning my first long campout (for me) on July 26 when I head from Gladstone to Astoria and down the coast on 101 to Newport then back aver the pass through Canby and home to Gladstone. I hope to learn a lot of useful things for my trip by reading your posts.
